Clinical Specialties: Psychological counselling for expats and international students, who struggle with issues such as as stress, burnout and life-work balance, cultural adjustment, family and relationship issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, personal growth, as well as existential and life-meaning questions. I hold a PhD in clinical psychology and I have been trained in psychotherapy and counselling. I am registered as a health psychologist (GZ-Psycholoog) in the Netherlands. The sessions can be covered by basic Dutch health insurance.
Cross-Cultural Experience: I have more than 10 years of cross-cultural experience. I studied in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. I come from a mixed Slovenian – Croatian cultural background and I have a cross-cultural relationship with a Dutch partner. I am professionally and personally experienced with the complex challenges that a move to a different country and being an expat entails.
