Clinical Specialties: Working with expatriate individuals, children, couples, and families with various issues from depression, stress related to relocation, adjustment to a new culture, etc. I also work with Third Culture Kids.
Cross-Cultural Experience: I was born in Germany to a German mother and an Italian father. I grew up in the US, and am an American citizen. I have been an expatriate a couple of times myself, living in Austria, the US, and Mexico. I am married to a Mexican. I am bilingual, and am able to work well with both Americans and Mexicans. Much of my work (volunteer) is with lower socio-economic clients in a community mental health clinic in Barrio Tepito of Mexico City (statistically the most dangerous and violent area of the country).
