Prior to living in Spain, Dr. Arcia, who is Cuban-American, has worked in the United States with in-patient bilingual Spanish / English population in the South Florida area and as Research Clinical Trial Coordinator with the University of Miami, Psychopharmacology Unit. My clinical research has focused on how cultural differences affect families of different ethnic, religious, and linguistic backgrounds when they attempt to use mental health services for their children.
