- Profile
I work with women who are navigating complex lives, orchestrating family life, adapting to new cultures, or moving through major life transitions without a clear roadmap. From the outside, things may look stable or even successful, but the day-to-day reality can feel much harder and more complicated than expected.
You’re managing responsibilities, tracking needs and expectations (your own and others’) and constantly anticipating what’s next. The mental load is real, and the cost to this over-competence is high. I help women step out of these patterns, understand what they’re carrying, and begin making changes that align with the life they want.I primarily work with women navigating:
Life transitions, including motherhood, relocation, and identity shifts
The mental load and invisible labor of daily life
Expat and cross-cultural living, including the complexity of building a life outside your home country
Chronic stress, perfectionism, and burnout
Health challenges, including chronic pain and autoimmune conditions
ADHD in women, including late diagnoses and its impact on daily functioning
Relationship dynamics and inequitable roles at homeTherapy with me is steady, gentle, and paced in a way that allows us to notice what’s happening beneath the surface of your day-to-day life. My stance is grounded in compassion and acceptance. We strip away expectations that are harsh and unforgiving to find the strengths and ‘good enoughness’ that are already there.
Together, we look at what you’re carrying, what’s actually yours to hold, and what you might be able to set down. My goal is to help you trust yourself and learn to care for yourself the way you’re already caring for everyone else.I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from Brigham Young University. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in Maryland.
Originally from the U.S., I’ve lived in Spain and now call Austria home, raising three teenage daughters with my husband. I understand the highs and lows of international life—and I’m here to help you thrive through it.
