- Profile
Welcome! My approach to therapy is collaborative and is inspired by the unique challenges, strengths and stories you bring into each session. I can support you with understanding and managing your emotions, moving from self-criticism to self-compassion, exploring values and how to live by them, and processing difficult events. My areas of interest include self-esteem, stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, expatriation/repatriation, body image concerns, disordered eating, and cultural and spiritual exploration.
To help you reach your potential, I draw from various therapeutic approaches supported by research. These include Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, DBT. My goal is to create an environment where you can show up, feel safe and empowered.
Meeting a new therapist and beginning your mental health journey is an act of courage. In our time together, you can expect inclusivity, compassion, empathy, and a little humour during our time together. Please call or send an email to find out if working with me might be a good fit for you. I look forward to meeting you! - CredentialsMasters of Counselling, Registered Provisional Psychologist
