Rev. Sheri Heller, LCSW, RSW

Presenting with 30+ years clinical and supervisory experience in the addiction and mental health fields, Rev. Sheri Heller, LCSW, RSW is a dual citizen of the United States and Canada and is licensed in clinical social work in New York State and Ontario Canada. As a psychodynamic therapist, certified coach, an addiction specialist, Ericksonian hypnotist, and interfaith minister, Sheri offers specialized treatment for those afflicted with complex trauma, narcissistic abuse, dissociative disorders and addictive disorders. She holds degrees and certifications from Hunter College, New York University, The American Academy of Healthcare Providers in the Addictive Disorders, The N.Y. Milton H. Erickson Society for Psychotherapy and Hypnosis, and OneSpirit Interfaith Seminary. Sheri is also a member of CCPA; the Canadian Counseling & Psychotherapy Association and ISSTD: The International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation. Additionally, Sheri is a free-lance writer, a playwright and the creator of a therapeutic theater event for at-risk women and girls in the public sector of NYC. Her journey of recovery was told through an animated film short by OC87 Recovery Diaries and aired on PBS in 2017. She is the author of A Clinicians Journey from Complex Trauma to Thriving: Reflections on Abuse, C-PTSD and Reclamation and Women on the Edge, and she has been quoted in various publications such as Forbes, Vice, Bustle, Readers Digest, Red Book, HuffPost and Cosmo.
