- Profile
I work online with English-speaking individuals and couples worldwide. My approach is to look at the patterns that keep repeating in your life, where they came from, and how they play out in real time, including between us.
I work with people dealing with life transitions, relationship challenges, identity questions, and recurring patterns they want to understand better. Many of my clients are navigating expat life, cultural adjustment, or cross-cultural relationships where assumptions about communication, roles, and conflict don’t align. But the work applies broadly to anyone trying to make sense of why they keep getting stuck in the same place, or why life doesn’t feel the way they thought it would.
Most people who find me aren’t in crisis. They’re functioning — sometimes very well — but something feels off. They keep ending up in the same situations despite knowing better, or they moved abroad and the familiar scaffolding was removed, or they’re successful on paper but can’t explain why life feels thinner than it should.
I don’t treat “being an expat” as the diagnosis. The move is the context. The work is about you: the patterns you brought with you, the ones that developed in response, and why they keep producing the same outcomes.
You can’t see a pattern you’re inside of. That’s not a personal failing, it’s just how perspective works. You’re looking at your life from inside the same viewpoint that’s keeping you stuck, so the patterns that matter most are the ones you can’t see from where you’re standing. No amount of intelligence or effort fixes that, because the problem isn’t that you’re not trying hard enough. It’s that you’re trying from inside the blind spot. What I offer isn’t superior knowledge about your life. It’s just a different vantage point, one that isn’t inside the same blind spot. I can see things you can’t, not because I’m smarter, but because I’m not you. Once what’s visible to me becomes visible to you too, you have options you didn’t have before.
I have a Master’s in Counseling (La Salle University) and a Master’s in Sociology (UC Berkeley). I schedule flexibly across time zones and offer a risk-free first session: you only pay if you decide to continue.
