HEALing Therapies is a safe space for expats to do just that: heal. It’s affordable therapy in the form of virtual or in person (walk & talk) sessions, so that no matter where you are in the world, you can get help & support.
Having been an expat myself, and having grown up a TCK (Third Culture Kid), I absolutely understand the issues that come with moving around and juggling multiple cultures & languages. In such situations, unique challenges present themselves: isolation, “imposter syndrome”, homesickness, exacerbated mental health issues, culture shock… the list can go on.
I’m proactive in my approach in that I try & help you find healthy coping skills & ways to tackle the issue(s) at hand to try & work towards resolution. I firmly believe that approaching problems with empathy, awareness and compassion is the best way to achieve relief.
