I provide individual psychotherapy for expats, international students and digital nomads experiencing adaptational issues to novel environments.
As a clinical psychologist and Cognitive-Behavioural (CBT) and EMDR therapist, I treat many mental health issues that may or may not be associated with the experience of being an expat: anxiety disorders, panic attacks, phobia, depression, trauma and PTSD, stress management, professional burn-out, adjustment/ phase of life problems, relationship difficulties, loneliness/ isolation, bereavement, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anger management, lack of assertiveness, improvement of communication skills, self-esteem and self-confidence issues, and cultural identity.
Being an expat myself and having ties to several countries in Europe, as well as North and South America, and having had a few experiences in expatriation, I identify with the global/ nomadic mindset and recognize the challenges associated with adaptation, both from a personal perspective as well as from my clinical experience, from working with the expat community in Paris since 2008, and more recently, worldwide.
