- Profile
Dr. Danielle Dronet, DSW
I am a licensed clinical social worker and Doctor of Social Work with more than a decade of experience providing psychotherapy, psychoanalytic treatment, and complex case consultation for adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families. My practice is founded on the belief that lasting psychological change occurs through understanding the deeper meaning of emotional experience while integrating contemporary findings from neuroscience, attachment research, and developmental psychology.
I am the Founder and Clinical Director of the Center for Advanced Mental Health Practice (CAMHP), where I provide comprehensive behavioral health services through psychotherapy, clinical case management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and telehealth. My work is informed by advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and neuropsychoanalytic theory, allowing me to integrate evidence-based clinical practice with an in-depth understanding of unconscious processes, emotional regulation, trauma, and personality development.
I specialize in treating:
Complex trauma and post-traumatic stress
Anxiety disorders and panic
Depression and mood disorders
Personality disorders
Grief and complicated bereavement
Relationship and attachment difficulties
Life transitions and identity concerns
Chronic medical illness and the psychological impact of disease
Caregiver stress and burnout
Veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, and their familiesMy therapeutic approach is individualized to each client. Depending on a person’s needs, treatment may incorporate psychoanalytic psychotherapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, supportive psychotherapy, cognitive and behavioral strategies, attachment-based interventions, and trauma-informed care. I believe meaningful change develops through a collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel understood, respected, and challenged to grow at a pace that is appropriate for them.
In addition to psychotherapy, I have extensive experience coordinating care among physicians, psychiatrists, hospitals, schools, legal professionals, and community agencies when complex situations require an integrated treatment approach.
I welcome clients from diverse cultural, religious, and international backgrounds. My practice values curiosity, compassion, clinical excellence, and respect for each person’s unique history and goals. Whether someone is seeking relief from long-standing emotional pain, navigating a major life transition, or striving for deeper self-understanding, my goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-informed care that promotes lasting psychological health.
I offer secure telehealth services where permitted by my professional licensure and applicable laws, as well as in-person services when available.
