Online Therapy in English Dipl.-Psych. Michèl Nöthen

Private online therapy for English-speaking adults, expats and international clients. I offer a confidential, structured space for anxiety and panic attacks, stress and burnout, depressive symptoms, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, alcohol and substance-use concerns, obsessive-compulsive difficulties, and major life transitions.

I am a German Diplom-Psychologe with more than 35 years of professional experience. I earned my Diplom in Psychology at the University of Cologne in 1989 (overall grade: “very good”) and hold a German permit to practise psychotherapy under the Heilpraktikergesetz, restricted to psychotherapy. I also spent six years living and working in the United States.

My approach is active, practical, empathic and individually tailored, drawing on cognitive-behavioural and integrative methods. Careful attention to body language, facial expression and non-verbal communication helps me understand emotional tension and inner conflict with sensitivity and respect.

Sessions take place online by video in English or German. International enquiries are welcome where online work is legally and professionally permitted. Fee: €100 for 45 minutes. Private-pay practice. A free 15-minute introductory call is available to see whether working together feels right.
