Often elaborating the need to address a psychologist requires a long incubation period, in which the person becomes aware of his/her discomfort and the difficulty in facing it with his/her own resources. For this reason, the first meeting with the therapist represents a moment full of emotions and expectations, often accompanied by states of anxiety and the need for acceptance. During the first meetings, I try to collect what my patient tells me, often like a river in full flow, guiding them towards a focus of their needs and therapeutic goals. It is essential to offer to the patient a serene context where he/she can feel welcomed and protected, a free and non-judgmental environment.
I can help you overcome moments of difficulty related to anxiety, grief, depression, panic attacks, relationship problems, eating disorders, violence and trauma. I can offer individual, couple or family sessions.
