I stayed several years abroad, mainly in France and Luxembourg during my studies and worked for international organizations, such as Unesco, The European Parliament & The Council of Europe. I always enjoy working with people from foreign countries and speaking foreign languages. My husband is from Indonesia. We met in Bandung, West-Java, Indonesia. Our children are used to have their families in both countries and travel to their home country Indonesia a lot of times. In 2018 after visiting the Alhambra in Granada, I became an author as well, writing about love, grief, roses, rose gardens, Indonesia, France and Southern Spain.
My latest books are Rose Petals and Tea Leaves, roses of the Alhambra and other stories (2018) and Roses of the Alcázar, a rose garden in Seville (2019) by Barbara Bahtiar?
