Inter-Being Psychologists is a small team of expat psychologists who offer psychotherapy, counselling, and coaching to expats, students, and couples. We also assist employers who support their employees with psychological counselling or coaching. We work in Amsterdam, Groningen, Delft and online. We take a multidisciplinary and culturally sensitive approach in our services, which are offered in several languages. We work with clients who struggle with issues such as as stress, burnout and life-work balance, cultural adjustment, family and relationship issues, anxiety, depression, addiction, self-esteem issues, personal growth, as well as existential and life-meaning questions. Treatment at Inter-Being can be covered by basic Dutch health insurance as well as European Insurance Card (EHIC) and other international insurances.

Marja Kuzmanic, the founder of Inter-Being Psychologists, holds a PhD in clinical psychology and has been trained in psychotherapy and counselling. She is registered as a health psychologist (GZ-Psycholoog) in the Netherlands. She has more than 10 years of cross-cultural experience. She studied in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom but comes from a mixed Slovenian – Croatian cultural background. She is professionally and personally experienced with the complex challenges that a move to a different country and being an expat entails.
