Experienced English-speaking (mother tongue) clinical psychologist and psychotherapist based in the centre of Amsterdam working with expats and locals. I offer care for adults, adolescents, children and couples. My experience as a therapist is vast and rich. My approach to the work is grounded in psychodynamic theory, depth psychology, narrative therapy and mind-body oriented therapy. I blend these approaches together skilfully and intuitively within the context of the therapeutic process and relationship to provide a therapeutic experience that is deep and meaningful, aimed at helping clients become their truest and most whole, connected selves. My clients learn to use their vulnerabilities, difficulties, problems and insecurities as the impetus for self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-growth as well as to improve awareness, holding and trust in their relationships with others and the world. I work with a wide diversity of cultures and ethnicities, ages and personalities and also a wide range of problems, difficulties, symptoms and vulnerabilities.
14 years of experience working with people across various cultures and ethnicities in private practice and public service institutions.
