I provide psychological counselling to expats and international students who struggle with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, work and life balance, cultural adjustment, relationships, identity and career questions, existential anxiety, dealing with loss and trauma. I also provide couples therapy to help couples who are going through complex issues. I integrate current scientific evidence in psychotherapy research into my practice. My practice is influenced by the following therapy models in which I am trained in: humanistic, psychodynamic, Gestalt, existential, cognitive behavioural, psychodrama, and Gottman method couples therapy.
I was born in Izmir, Turkey, and raised in a Macedonian – Turkish family. I lived in Prague, Czech Republic for 6 years before I moved to Amsterdam in 2017. I have worked with people from various nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
