- Profile
I believe that everyone deserves a fulfilling, meaningful life, and that each person has the capacity for growth and self-healing. I love helping people through life transitions, rediscovering confidence, building strong relationships, finding joy in parenting, and creating lives that feel meaningful and fulfilling.
I have supported clients through periods of self-doubt, depressive moods, anxiety, major life transitions, and relationship challenges. I also work with parents, helping them find confidence and connection in their parenting journey, while building stronger family bonds. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual, focusing on building self-confidence, emotional resilience, and self-compassion.
Having lived and worked in diverse cultural settings, I understand the complexities of finding one’s place in the world and the importance of belonging and connection. This global perspective allows me to connect with clients from all backgrounds and offer a culturally sensitive approach to therapy.
If you’re looking to break free from self-limiting patterns, rebuild your confidence, strengthen your relationships, or simply find a deeper sense of purpose, I’m here to support you on that journey.
My counselling style is holistic and integrative, shaped by the belief that each person’s path is unique. I tailor my approach to each client’s needs, drawing from a range of therapeutic frameworks, including psycho-dynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), systemic therapy, and existential perspectives. I believe in the power of knowledge and offer psycho-education whenever it can support deeper understanding, empowerment, and personal growth.
My approach is trauma-informed, grounded in sensitivity to each person’s emotional safety and past experiences. I am also a trained Brainspotting Practitioner, a powerful, body-based method for accessing and processing deeply held emotional and physical pain. Like EMDR, Brainspotting is particularly effective for working with trauma, anxiety, and unresolved experiences that are stored in the body and nervous system.
- CredentialsI have MSc Psychology from St Mary's University, London, Certificate in Counselling Skills from University or Glasgow, Postqualificitaion Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People. I’m a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), a member of the Netherlands Institute of Psychologists (NIP), and the Dutch Association for Supervision and Coaching (LVSC).
