Maternal Mental Health Counsellor

As a registered clinical social worker and counsellor, I understand the unique challenges of motherhood and how it can be so deeply beautiful and so hard at the same time. It often feels hard because it is hard. Counselling can help you work through those challenges. It can help your voice feel louder and clearer, can help you understand your emotions, find ways to live in alignment with your values, and live the one precious life you want to live. Whether you are struggling with a recent change, feeling overwhelmed, need practical strategies or emotional support, I am available to support you on your journey. My clinical social work and counselling services include support for perinatal depression, anxiety, preparation and adjustment to parenting, emotional regulation, self-care, stress management, identity shifts, relationship changes, and grief and loss. I am a mother of three children and understand the unique transitions and challenges faced in motherhood. Becoming a parent is life changing and it can bring unexpected emotional challenges. My approach is empathetic and practical acknowledging that mothers need tools and strategies to manage their wellbeing as well as support to experience growth around identity, relationships and roles.
