I’m an Italian psychotherapist specializing in expat life: identity, belonging, the constant question of whether to stay or go back, couple stress, and the emotional weight of family relationships from afar.
I work online with Italians who have been living outside Italy for a few years, long enough that the excitement has faded, but the sense of rootedness hasn’t arrived yet. I’m also specialized in repatriation.
My approach is rooted in Transactional Analysis and Internal Family Systems. I lived abroad for ten years myself, which means I don’t just understand this experience theoretically, I’ve lived the disorientation, the in-between, the guilt of being far from family, and the exhaustion of never fully feeling at home.
