Online sessions can be a great way to access an experienced practitioner at a reasonable cost. It can difficult it can be to decide which counsellor or psychotherapist to see, and I believe finding the right practitioner is important so am always happy to discuss your needs with no obligation to book an appointment. While I have training in different styles of counselling and therapy my main approach is Transactional Analysis / Psychodynamic. My aim is to help you find permanent change and opportunities for continued growth, rather than short term ‘tools’ or quick fixes. I have 25 years’ experience and have provided around 20,000 treatment hours for clients from all walks of life. Between 1997 and 2019 I was the director at the Liverpool Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy, recently passing on the business to two of my colleagues (who renamed it The Liverpool Psychotherapy and Counselling Centre). Now working exclusively online my adult (18+) clients hail from all walks of life, although I do tend to see a lot of medical practitioners, my clients are also students who travel to and from their place of learning, business people away or on the move, people who have relocated, those who find it hard to travel to a therapists office or if you are more comfortable with modern digital communication.
