Monica Sala Msc. UKCP, UK Online Counselling

Hi, I’m Monica – a trauma-informed Integrative Psychotherapist with 30 years’ experience and over 15 years of online practice. I provide online therapy via Zoom for English-speaking adults living abroad, including expats, humanitarian and NGO professionals, and internationally mobile adults.

I set up my practice in 2010 while living as an expat. My own cross-cultural background, having grown up in a Third Culture, and my intercultural therapy training gives me insight into the realities of humanitarian, NGO, and international lifestyles.

My approach is grounded in traditional talking therapy and integrates IFS (Internal Family Systems), Attachment Theory, and T.A. (Transactional Analysis). I help clients work through trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, self-esteem issues, and other difficulties. I focus on supporting you to understand how past experiences shape your present, refresh coping strategies, and build a compassionate connection with yourself.

Therapy provides a space to tell your story, see it with fresh perspective, and explore new ways of living and relating. It’s not always easy, but it can bring clarity, strength, and meaningful change ..wherever life has taken you.

I offer weekday daytime sessions (UK time). If you’d like to find out more or explore whether we’re a good fit, please feel free to get in touch via my website (link below) to arrange a free 15-minute consultation. I’d be glad to hear from you.
