Sally McGregor, PsyD is the founder and owner of WanderWell Psychology PLLC, which serves global nomads and collaborates with expatriate and third culture focused mental health professionals. Dr. McGregor prioritizes creating a non-judgmental, open-minded, and safe environment for patients to share. She has worked in a wide variety of settings, among them, universities, trauma-focused nonprofits, a military clinic, a county jail, a private practice and an international hospital. Dr. McGregor is EMDR trained and is particularly adept at working with clients carrying a history of trauma. She has also received specialized training in military psychology during her doctoral education. As an Adult Third Culture Kid (ATCK) herself, Dr. McGregor intimately understands the expat and ATCK experience of “belonging everywhere and nowhere” that can result from a childhood and/or adulthood spent traversing the globe. She enjoys exploring cross-cultural issues in therapy and believes that the various identities we carry, and how they are perceived and regarded in each context we enter, impact who we become and how we operate in the world. Dr. McGregor welcomes clients to bring their full selves into the room, and uses an integrative and collaborative approach in treatment.
