Dr. Angela DeVita provides expertise, support and guidance for expats and digital nomads, living and working abroad, who may be experiencing anxiety, relationship and intimacy challenges, suffering from feelings of loneliness and isolation, emotional overwhelm, depression, burnout, and/or people-pleasing tendencies, accentuated by Covid exhaustion, life transitions and cultural adjustments. Dr. DeVita is attuned to the nuanced concept of “home,” and helps her clients feel at home and connected within their own body and soul wherever they are in the world.
Dr. DeVita is a licensed psychotherapist in California with a doctoral degree in Depth Psychology and a master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy/Clinical Art Therapy living in both Ventura, California and northern Spain.
Online sessions generally include an integrative blend of depth psychology, somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness, multigenerational family systems and internal family systems (IFS) approaches, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), creative arts therapy, and mind-body wellness coaching.
Dr. DeVita is experienced working with expatriates, digital nomads, third culture kids (TCKs), international teachers, health professionals, location-independent entrepreneurs, writers, creatives, college students, state department, government and NGO employees, and diverse multicultural clientele.
